	1996 is the year Harley updated the Sportster and they haven’t changed much except for the gas tank and oil bottle. This oil bottle is a one of a kind custom mustang style with a polished aluminum insert. I’m the second owner, I bought this Sportster from a young lady in Charlestown as an 883 and had it upgraded to a 1200 at that point I powder coated the cylinders. That is a specialty that is not seen on many bikes because the work involved. The complete rebuild of this bike was done in 2005 that was the 1200 upgrade, new cables, brake lines, a 180 rear tire kit and a Seeger raked front end kit.
	The rake is now 42.5 degrees at 8 inches over. The rear fender is custom with a built in LED break light and a side mount license plate and break light. The tail lights have been converted to running light/ turn signals. Harleys are turn signal only. The paint work is by In the Weeds Customs the finest anywhere. This bike starts on the first fire and has been trouble free for all of its 15,000 miles, 4,000 on the engine since 2005. 	The cylinders are powder coated. That is a specialty that is not seen on many bikes because of the work involved. The coil was moved from under the gas tank and a custom motor mount was made to hold it on the side
